Talked about for some time, but now here.  UK ISPs are now to start sending out educational letters to their customers who are identified as using peer-to-peer sharing in order to download copyright protected material that they have not paid for.

The move forms part of plans first announced back in 2014, but critics of these measures say that the internet has moved on since then and, that as sites offering streaming services are now more popular than peer-to-peer file sharing, the impact of these letters will be minimal.
