The Government is introducing new rules that will end card-charging in Britain.
We'll all be familiar with them where you get to the end of a purchase and find that to pay on the card you'd hoped to will cost £x more than paying on another card. They'll be a thing of the past in 2018.
As the article points out, previous changes were brought in in 2015 to cap interchange fees and many industries already absorb the card fees, so for many no changes will be required on the back of these new rules.
