About Me

Carol is a partner in the commercial property team and is based in our Southampton office.

Carol has almost two decades of experience supporting a variety of clients in relation to real estate issues affecting their businesses. Carol's area of particular interest is in advising institutional investors in relation to the acquisition, financing, disposal and asset management of their real estate portfolios. Carol has extensive experience of managing teams to support clients as an extension of their in house function providing commercial legal advice that is focused on helping clients achieve their investment aims.

Carol joins Foot Anstey from a global telecommunications company where she was sole real estate counsel providing support to the company on all of its real estate including occupational, retail and technical property and advising the company on the law as it affects the expansion of telecommunications networks. She remains interested in the evolution of the law in this area including the impact of the new Electronic Communications Code.

Work highlights include supporting a number of clients through HQ moves, leading the asset management team at her previous firm providing support to a number of significant property funds and acting for a fund client on the sale (by vacant possession) of a large city centre shopping centre to a noted retailer.

Carol speaks three languages and is ranked as a Leading Individual in UK Legal Directory, Legal 500, where she is noted for her advice to institutional landlords, and management of property portfolios for corporate occupiers.
