A great article from City AM highlighting Bristol's pedigree as a city that punches well above its weight when it comes to technological innovation.
Having participated in recent high profile technology events in Bristol (Festival of the Future Cities; Business West/Foot Anstey hosted AI and Big Data Roundtable with guest Andrew Moore) the latest news comes as no surprise to us (Technology Lead Martin Cuell and Head of Markets Nathan Peacey) within the Technology/Commercial team at Law Firm Foot Anstey LLP.
The City boasts a heady mix of technologists, leading academics at both Universities, inspiring innovation hubs at UWE's Future Space, the Bristol and Bath Science Park and Engine Shed, leading technology businesses and outstanding cutting edge start ups and good engagement across the council in collaboration with national and international partners.
Bristol and the SW is at the heart of new technology from autonomous vehicles, 5G, connected region collaboration, robotics and telephony infrastructure.
But Bristol and its innovators are famously self-effacing and this new report will go a long way to publicising Bristol's focus on technology innovation.
