EV Infrastructure Summit: Audience Poll Latest

Technology obsolescence and the difficulty in securing funding created by that risk have just been voted as the biggest factors in holding back the take up of additional Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure by the real estate sector. 

It is good to see the energy, automotive and public sectors identifying these issues and coming together to address these issues.    

EVs represent the biggest revolution in transport yet, impacting not just vehicle OEMs but the power sector, cities, local authorities, businesses with parking spaces and housing developments. An effective roll-out of charging infrastructure across the UK will be cruicial to the economy over coming years.
